The "World's Prettiest Gas Station" in Beatty, Nevada

The Death Valley Nut and Candy Company also serves gas. Inside, the store is huge and sells, surprise - a huge selection of nuts and candy, as well as ice cream and the usual convenience store items. The Death Valley Nut and Candy Company calls their store the "World's Prettiest Gas Station." While I can't vouch for whether that claim is accurate (how can you, unless you visit every gas station in the world), it is very nice with fountains outside and architecture that is anything but your typical "convenience store experience."
