Photographs of the Rainbow Canyon Scenic Drive

The Rainbow Canyon Scenic Drive is located in eastern Nevada and begins in the town of Caliente. This enjoyable twenty-one mile scenic drive follows State Highway 317 for its entire length through Rainbow Canyon, a deep canyon full of red rock and unique rock formations. Railfans will also enjoy this drive, as the road closely follows the busy Union Pacific Railroad.
