Multiple Railroad Tunnels on the Union Pacific Railroad
The Rainbow Canyon Scenic Drive closely follows the Union Pacific Railroads main line through Rainbow Canyon. The railroad tracks go through numerous tunnels and there is many deep cuts made by the railroad. The railroad is also very busy, with trains often running every twenty minutes. As such, Rainbow Canyon is a great place for the railfan to visit.
