Irrigation in the Northern Ruby Valley at Dusk
I had high hopes for this photo, and even staked out this spot for forty minutes - hoping to capture the perfect sunset. But the thin layer of clouds that had lingered most of the day disappeared alarmingly quickly as the sun set - thus leaving little in the way of clouds to provide a colorful sunset. Oh well. This photo was taken along Highway 229, otherwise known as the Secret Pass Scenic Drive.
