The Northern Ruby Valley
The Northern Ruby Valley is a huge, flat expanse of agricultural lands and desert. The valley, when driving through on the Secret Pass Scenic Drive, can at times seem endless. Lofty mountains surround the valley, but it sometimes seems it takes forever to reach them due to the flat, featureless valley, high elevation and clear skies that distort distances.
