The Lone Sign Showing the Way to the Monitor Valley
Study this sign carefully. If you plan on driving the Monitor Valley Scenic Drive beginning at the junction with US Highway 50 west of Eureka, this sign will be all you see that points the way to the Monitor Valley. The road that cuts through the Monitor Valley is called the Belmont Road. The road is in great condition (usually), but it is gravel and often quite dusty.
