Foothills of the Toquima Mountains
The foothills of the Toquima Mountains are visible for much of the length of the Monitor Valley Scenic Drive. This is one of the few spots where the Toquima Mountains themselves aren't visible (a few miles outside of Belmont). Soon, though, the foothills give way to vast, expansive views.
